 SUBJECT:  PHMA  FIRE-TENDER  AND TRAINING FOR FIRE-FIGHTING & EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES BY CERTIFIED TRAINERS

 

Honorable Members,

 

The Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA), since its inception in 1960, is committed to promote the industry and safeguard the genuine rights and businesses of members. Likewise, PHMA also believes to extend services par excellence to members to facilitate them for all their needs and requirements in Pakistan and elsewhere.

 

The PHMA in its Zonal Committee meeting chaired by Zonal Chairman, held on 25^th March 2017 at PHMA House, had due-diligence to further enhance facilitation to members. The meeting also expressed concern over the recent incidents of fire in the industrial zones and recorded dissatisfaction over the existing capacity and inefficiency of the Fire Brigade Department of Karachi. However, being thoughtful of PHMA?s imperative role to deliver members and contribute to prosperity of our beloved country and Karachi city, the PHMA Zonal Committee resolved to introduce and establish its owned Fire-Tender to be stationed at PHMA House Karachi for purpose to handle any fire and emergency situation for members and other segments of the society. In emergency situation, the PHMA Fire-Tender being stationed in the business nucleus: Shahrah-e-Faisal manned by professionally trained personnel, shall have the capacity to reach at any affected place in emergency situation. In this connection, PHMA will also acquire the services of Expert Certified Trainers to train dedicated staff of members and also conduct training courses at the PHMA Institute, on regular basis.

 

Subsequently, PHMA urge all members that they while recognizing their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) may please step forward and give generous contribution to PHMA for purchase of Fire-Tender.
