We would like to inform our valued Members
that USAID Pakistan Regional Economic Integration Activity (PREIA) in
collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Commercial
Office Almaty, Embassy of Pakistan is organizing the 2nd
edition of ?Made in Pakistan? - Single Country Business and Trade
Exhibition in Almaty, Kazakhstan from October 11th to 15th,
2018.

This 2nd edition of ?Made in
Pakistan? promises to provide an opportunity to Pakistani traders, manufactures
and exporters for showcasing their products,
acquiring exposure, identifying business deals, opportunities and explore potential
of the newly developing markets of Central Asian Republics (CARs).
Several products with strong prospects of
export from Pakistan to CARs include denim, towels, home textiles, leather,
apparels, tea, rice, herbal products, skin care, kitchenware, carpets,
sportswear, sports good, surgical products, pharmaceutical, furniture,
construction material and handicrafts, to name a few. From the perspective of
import, there is a significant opportunity for raw/inputs and/or intermediate
goods which upon processing into finished goods are re-exported.

Kazakhstan,
the 51st largest economy in the world and a gateway to
the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (gives access to a
market of 182 million people) and CARs, offers a stable economy, ease in
starting a business, a strong regulatory environment, a transparent and effective
business culture and tax and other provisions for investors.
