IMPORTANT
AWARENESS SEMINAR ON BUSINESS / EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES ON 2ND PHASE OF PAKISTAN-CHINA FTA ON 10 JANUARY 2020 (FRIDAY) AT
PC HOTEL, KARACHI
As members are aware that the 2nd
phase of China Pakistan Free Trade Agreement has become operational from 1st
January 2020. Under CPFTA Phase-II, China has eliminated tariff on 313 tariff
lines of Pakistan's export interest, giving treatment at par with ASEAN. These
313 tariff lines cover over US$ 8.7 billion worth of Pakistan's global export
and US$ 64 billon of worth of Chinese global imports. More than 100 product
lines of textile & garments included in CPFTA phase-II.
Ministry of Commerce & Textile and Trade Development Authority
of Pakistan are organizing Seminar in order to apprise the Business community
of the Business/export opportunities arising out of the 2nd phase of China
Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA-II) as per following schedule:
