FBR requests to Ports and Container Terminals for further relief in Demurrage and Detention Charges

The Federal Board of Revenue, in view of lock-down and restriction of movement of vehicles, has requested the Ports and Container Terminals that demurrage and detention charges may not be charged from the importers for a period of 15 days in addition to the free time already allowed by the Port Authorities.

A self explanatory letter of FBR addressed to Ports and Container Terminals is attached herewith for the information of members.
