SUBJECT:     REGISTRATION FOR CONCESSIONARY TARIFF RATES ON SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY AND GAS

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued Circular No.4 of 2020 - Operations (Sales Tax) on the subject of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Registration of New Manufacturers for Concessionary Tariff Rates on supply of Electricity and Gas. Copy of Circular is attached for perusal and necessary action.

Those Member industries are not getting concessionary tariff rates on supply of electricity and gas are advised to immediately apply by filling the attached Annexure-B and submit their application along with following documents for new registration for concessionary tariff rates to Association-PHMA for onward submission to Export-Oriented Sector Registration Cell (ESRC) of FBR.

1.       Copy of electricity / gas bill(s)

2.       Details of Machinery List on Letterhead

3.       Copy of IRS Profile. (It is mandatory that Account / Consumer number of gas or electricity bill(s) shows in the IRS Profile for registration for concessionary tariff rates.)
