SUBJECT: NOTICE RECEIVED FROM ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA), GOVERNMENT OF SINDH.
All such members who have received Notice to their industries with regards to ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ORDER UNDER SECTION 16(1) OF PAKISTAN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT, 1997 reproduced below:
?That under Section-11 of Pakistan Environmental Protection (PEP) Act, 1997, no person shall discharge or emit or allow the discharge or emission of any effluent or waste of air pollutant or noise in an amount, concentration or level which is in excess of the National Environment Quality Standards (NEQS)?, enclosed are requested to send copies of same to the Association for taking up the matter with the concerned authorities on high level.
