Subject: Advisory - Default Surcharge on Outstanding Super Tax




Dear Members,

 

It has been observed that members are receiving notices regarding default surcharge on outstanding Super Tax from the FBR.

 

PHMA is actively taking up the matter with the concerned authorities to seek clarity and relief for the industry. All affected members are requested to share copies of such notices along with relevant details with PHMA by 10th April 2026. All information shared with PHMA will be treated as strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of collective representation and facilitation.

 

In order to facilitate members and effectively take up the matter at the policy level, PHMA is actively engaged with the Federal Government of Pakistan and the concerned authorities to seek clarity, relief, and a possible resolution of the issues being faced by exporters and the industry.

 

Members are also advised to respond to the notices within the prescribed timelines while coordinating with PHMA for collective representation.
