DRAFT OF LETTER TO BE SENT BY ALL OUR MEMBERS WHOSE POWER SUPPLY HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR WHO HAVE RECEIVED NOTICE FROM KESC RELATING TO CAPTIVE POWER PLANT / POWER FACTOR / OVERLOAD ? TO CHAIRMEN OF THEIR TOWN / INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATIONS; PRESIDENT FPCCI AND PRESIDENT KCCI SEPERATELY

Dear Sir,

 

We are facing immense amount of difficulties, loss in production and great harassment leading to disastrous effect due to disconnection of our power supply by KESC without any Notice or intimation.

 

As a result of this sudden and uninformed disconnection of power supply not only our production schedule has been seriously affected but even our export commitments have been hit hard leading to cancellation of orders specially in such times of the severest ever liquidity crunch and economic crisis the industry is going through. This sudden, drastic and harsh step taken by KESCL is not at all reasonable nor justified despite the fact that we are regular paymasters and have never defaulted in the payment of KESCL bills.

 

We fervently appeal to you to kindly take serious action, hold a Press Conference without the least delay and forcefully highlight the serious plight of Karachi Industries seriously burdened and on way to disaster due to such uncalled for action by KESCL.
