TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION

 

IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS REQUIRED TO BE TAKEN TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD IN THE FACTORIES DURING THE WINTER SEASON.

 

 

In view of fire hazard during the winter months, it is imperative that all factories take necessary precautions to make efforts to save their factories in advance from this danger. Already couples of factories have had incidents of fire during this winter season.

 

In view of the above, we request all our valued members to ensure the following for the safety of their factories:

 

1. Keeps their Fire System including Fire Fighting Equipment in tip top shape and complete working order.

 

2. Hold Fire Fighting Drill and training of their staff for such eventualities.

 

3. Ensure complete cleaning of the entire factory area of cotton lint and dry waste with vacuum cleaner.
