MINUTES OF MEETING OF COLLECTOR CUSTOMS EXPORTS, KARACHI TO DISCUSS EXPORT EXAMINATION ISSUES

Consequent to the meeting held with Collector Customs Exports, Karachi ? KICT and PICT, Mr. Manzoor Hussain Memon at PHMA House, Karachi on 3^rd December, 2014, and these officials have been very receptive and cooperative to the issues and problems of Export Examination discussed therein.

In this regard, a meeting of Collector Customs Exports, Karachi ? KICT and PICT, Mr. Manzoor Hussain Memon was held with the representatives of the Terminal Operators (Karachi Port) on 22-12-2014 on the following issues:

1. Damages to export goods during de-stuffing and re-stuffing;

2. Theft of goods from the port; and

3. Non demarcation of export and import examination areas at the port
